After the publication of my first travel journal, ek. frankryk. 246 dae. [me. france. 246 days.] (2016) I was contacted by the Embassy of France’s cultural division, the Institut Français en Afrique du Sud (IFAS). While the original book was in my home language, Afrikaans, they suggested collaborating on an English version. My France: a South African’s Guide is the realisation of this request. I designed this multimedia travel guide showcasing my own writings, drawings, and photographs, and added additional information that would assist any traveller in finding the best that France has to offer.

Since 2016, I have promoted learning French as a foreign language at more than 30 events hosted by over 10 South African high schools, universities, and institutions.
